Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System): Description and Operation

EEC Power Relay:

^ The EEC (Electronic Engine Controls) Power Relay, located in the power distribution box on the right inner fender, is activated by the ignition switch to provide battery voltage to the ECA computer and other electronic components.
^ These include the fuel pump relay, fuel injectors, canister purge solenoid, idle speed control, automatic transmission converter clutch override and shift solenoids.
