Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Throttle Position Sensor Replacement:

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect sensor electrical connector.
2. Remove two sensor retaining screws.
3. Lift off sensor and discard gasket.

INSTALLATION

1. Position sensor with electrical connector facing rearward and use a new gasket.
2. Secure sensor to throttle body with two screws and tighten to 11 - 16 in.lbs (1.2 - 1.8 Nm).
3. Reinstall electrical connector.
