Ignition Control Module: Testing and Inspection

A rough idle, no start or hard start condition may be caused by a faulty ground circuit in the Electronic Distributorless Ignition System (EDIS) module connector.







1. Locate EDIS module connector B-18 on radiator support.
2. Locate ground circuit wire (black with white tracer) in module connector B-18.
3. Check terminal on ground circuit wire. If the terminal does not have a brass sleeve, replace it by splicing in a new terminal assembly (part #ZZLO 67 371).
