Ignition Control Module: Service and Repair

EDIS Module Replacement:

1. Disconnect battery cables and remove battery.
2. Unplug module electrical connector.
3. Remove module mounting bolt and remove module.
4. To replace, insert module rivet into tear-drop mounting hole on fender apron and push into position.
5. Install a new mounting bolt and tighten to 22 - 31 in.lbs (2.5 - 3.5 Nm).
6. Plug in module electrical connector, install battery and connect cables.
