System Specifications

When checking drive belt tension, install the belt and adjust it to the proper specification using a tension gauge placed at the arrow in the figure.
When checking drive belt deflection, install the belt, then apply 22 lb. of pressure to the belt at the arrow in the figure. Adjust the belt to the proper deflection and tighten mounting bolts.

This vehicle does not require belt tension adjustment, because of a standard automatic tensioner designed to the engine.
