EGR System Inspection:
1.
Connect SST, or equivalent, to
PCME as shown.
2.
Drive vehicle and verify
PCME terminals 2S and 2R read battery voltage while engine is still cold.
3.
Warm engine to operating temperature. Drive vehicle and verify green and red lamps flash when SST is set to 2S and 2R.
4.
Stop vehicle and let idle. Ground
PCME terminal 2R with jumper wire.
5.
Engine should run rough or stall.
