Connecting Rod: Testing and Inspection

1. Measure connecting rod small end bore, which should be 0.9033 - 0.9039 inch (22.9430-022.960 mm).
2. Check interference between small end bore and piston pin, which should be 0.0005 - 0.0014 inch (0.013 - 0.037 mm).
3. Check each connecting rod for bending or twisting. Bend or twist should not exceed 0.0016 inch per 3.937 inches, replace as necessary.
