Coolant Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Testing and Inspection

ACS (Water Temperature) Inspection






Step 1
1 . Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect the ACS (Water Temperature) connector.




3. Measure resistance of the ACS (Water Temperature) and the temperature around the ACS (Water Temperature).




4. Compare the values with those in the diagram.





Step 2
1. Disconnect the A/C amplifier connectors.





2. Measure resistance between terminal wires (B/W) and (L/O) of the connector, and measure the temperature around the ACS (Water Temperature).
3. Compare the values with those in the diagram above.
