Installation

1. Caliper must be bottomed out to install new pad.
2. Place new anti-rattle clip on lower end of inner pad. Ensure tabs are properly positioned and clip is fully seated.
3. Position inner pad and anti-rattle clip in abutment of spindle with anti-rattle clip tab against pad abutment and loop type spring away from disc plate.
4. Compress anti-rattle clip and slide upper end of pad into position.
5. Install outer pad, ensuring that torque buttons on pad are seated in matching holes in caliper.
6. Ensure inner pad side clearance is 0.026 - 0.010 inch and end clearance is 0.047 - 0.039 inch.
7. Check that minimum caliper clearance is 0.15 inch.
8. Ensure mounting surfaces are free of dirt and corrosion.
9. Lubricate caliper grooves with suitable grease, then position caliper on spindle.
10. Using suitable hammer, tap caliper pin into place. Ensure pin contacts spindle, not caliper. Install lower pin.
11. Bleed system if necessary.
