Brake Light Switch: Testing and Inspection
Stop Light Switch (Test Connections):
Disconnect the Stop Light Switch connector and check for continuity across the switch terminals with the brake pedal applied.
Does continuity exist?

YES--Switch is OK.

NO--Replace Stop Light Switch.
