Assembly Note

Front oil pump seal

1. Install a new oil pump seal using the SST.

Note:
Check and make sure that the garter spring has not popped oft of the converter hub-to-converter housing seal.

2. Install SST into the seal as shown.

3. Stake a new seal in place with SST.

Note:
Stake between the old stake marks.

4. Carefully remove SST.
