Disassembly/Assembly

1. With caliper removed from vehicle, remove dust seals.
2. Place a piece of wood in caliper and blow compressed air, a little at a time, through flexible hose connection hole to force pistons out of caliper.
3. Remove piston seals, cap and bleeder screw.
4. Check cylinders and pistons for wear or rust, caliper body for damage or cracks and the boots for damage or poor sealing.
5. Coat piston seals with grease supplied in seal kit and install seal in caliper.
6. Coat pistons and cylinders with brake fluid and insert pistons straight into cylinder bores.
7. Install dust seal.
8. Coat lock bolt and boot with grease supplied in seal kit.
9. Install boot to caliper.
