Pressure Control Solenoid Replacement





Care should be taken when replacing the pressure control solenoid. The new solenoid comes with a connector which may have the solenoid wire installed in the wrong position (figure 1). Notice the solenoid on the right has the wire installed in the left position. The original solenoid on the left has the wire installed in the right position.

Solenoid part number: 31940-41X01

Note:
The solenoid wires in the connectors are in the same order as the solenoids on the valve body.

Warning!
If the new solenoid is installed with the wire on the left side, as shown in figure one, the computer will be damaged and have to be replaced, or repaired.
