Transmission Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection

NOTE: Obtain audio anti-theft access code before disconnecting battery cables.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the resonance duct and the air cleaner housing assembly.
3. Disconnect the vehicle speed pulse generator connector.

4. Measure resistance between the terminals A and B of the vehicle speed pulse generator.

Resistance: 200 - 400 Ohms

5. If not correct, replace the vehicle speed pulse generator.
6. Install the air cleaner housing assembly and the resonance duct.
7. Connect the negative battery cable.
