Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Crankshaft Position Sensor R&R:
1.
Remove coil/igniter assembly.
2.
Unplug sensor connector, remove mounting bolt, and lift unit from engine.
3.
Install in reverse order. Apply engine oil to O-ring and drive blade.
4.
Adjust ignition timing.
5.
Tighten bolt to
14 - 18 ft.lbs (19 - 25 Nm).
