Electric Load Sensor: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
Signals from certain electrical devices cause the PCME to compensate for increased engine load by making idle speed adjustments.

OPERATION
When switched ON, these loads cause PCME to raise idle speed through its control of idle air control valve:

^ Blower switch
^ Light and turn relay
^ Coolant fan relay
