Test Specifications and Ohm Meter Connections:





INSPECTION: PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH
1. Disconnect the Park/neutral Position Switch connector.
2. Connect an ohmmeter to the switch, as shown.
3. Check the continuity of the switch between the terminals, as shown.
4. If not as specified, replace the Park/neutral Position Switch.

NOTE: On manual transmission applications the Park/Neutral Position Switch and the Clutch Pedal Position Switch share the same (input) circuit and terminal pin No.30 to the Powertrain Control Module.
