Intake Manifold: Service and Repair

Intake System R&R:

1. Remove components in order shown.
2. Inspect parts and replace as needed.
3. Install in reverse order of removal. Refer to INSTALLATION NOTE.

COMPONENTS

1. Resonance duct.
2. Air cleaner housing.
3. Air cleaner element.
4. Volume air flow sensor.
5. Resonance chamber.
6. Air hose.
7. Accelerator cable.
8. Throttle body.
9. Dashpot.
10. IAC valve.
11. Dynamic chamber.
12. Air valve.
13. Intake manifold bracket.
14. Intake manifold.

INSTALLATION NOTE

Manifold Bolt Tightening Sequence:

1. Tighten bolts in sequence shown:

TORQUE: 14 - 19 ft.lb. (19 - 25 Nm)

2. Refill radiator and check for coolant leaks.
