Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

Intake Air System Service:

1. Remove in order shown, referring to Removal Note.
2. Inspect components and repair or replace if necessary.
3. Install in reverse order, referring to Installation Note.

2. Air cleaner housing
3. Air cleaner element
4. Volume airflow sensor
5. Resonance chamber
6. Air hose
7. Accelerator cable
8. Throttle body
9. Dashpot
10. IAC valve
11. Dynamic chamber
12. Air valve
13. Intake manifold bracket
14. Intake manifold

REMOVAL NOTE

Removal Note:

Raise vehicle to remove 4 bolts shown in image.

INSTALLATION NOTE

Intake Manifold Torque Pattern:

1. Tighten bolts to 14 - 19 ft lb (19 - 25 Nm) in order shown.
2. Refill radiator with specified engine coolant.
3. Check for engine coolant leakage.
