System Inspection
1. Check for the following conditions while cranking the engine with the throttle wide open.
- The engine does not start
- No primary injector operation is detected with a stethoscope

Results:
- Same as above--System OK
- Not as above--System NG. Go to step 2.

2. If the engine starts, and operational sound of primary injector is heard, inspect the throttle position sensor and the powertrain control module engine (PCME) terminal 1C voltage.
