Transmission Temperature Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION
1. Refer to "Service and Repair" for removal of the transaxle fluid temperature sensor.

2. Place the transaxle fluid temperature sensor in ATF with a thermosensor as shown and heat the ATF gradually.
3. Measure resistance between the terminals of the transaxle fluid temperature sensor.

4. If not correct, replace the transaxle fluid temperature sensor.
5. Refer to "Service and Repair" for installation of the transaxle fluid temperature sensor.
