System Operation 1.
Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature and let it idle.
2.
Disconnect the vacuum hose from the solenoid valve as shown in the figure, and verify that no vacuum is felt at the solenoid valve.
3.
If not as specified, check the solenoid valve.
