Variable Induction Control Valve: Testing and Inspection
Shutter Valve (VICS) / Inspection 1.
Remove the shutter valve actuator.
2.
Verify that the shutter valve rotates smoothly.
3.
Replace the dynamic chamber if the valve is stuck or does not rotate smoothly.
NOTE: The shutter valve stopper bolt is set at the factory and must not be adjusted. Any adjustment will negatively effect the engine performance.
