Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Caution:
^ Do not drop or subject the sensor to sharp shock
^ Do not put or allow anything in the sensor

INSPECTION
1. Disconnect the mass air flow sensor connector.
2. Remove the mass airflow sensor.




3. Check for damage of the sensor.
4. Reconnect the mass air flow sensor.
5. Disconnect the PCM connector.
6. Connect the SST (NGS) to the data link connector.
7. Select the PID/DATA monitor and Record function on the NGS.







8. If not as specified, replace the mass air flow sensor.
