Variable Resonance Induction System VRIS

Description




Engine speed controlled resonance charge effect is used to improve low speed torque.
This system consist of the dynamic chamber, *VRIS shutter valve actuator, extension manifolds, intake manifold, VRIS shutter valve and control system.
The VRIS shutter valve is installed on the dynamic chamber; the VRIS shutter valve operation is controlled by the engine control module.




Resonance Charge
The resonance charge uses pressure waves of the intake air caused by closing or opening the intake valves. As each cylinder's intake valve open or closes, it forces air to fill other cylinders.The engine speed at which this is effective is set by the dynamic chamber capacity and the length of the passage between the cylinders.
