Idle/Throttle Speed Control Unit: Description and Operation
The bypass air control
(BAC) valve assembly contains two sub-assemblies (listed below) which are not serviceable separately.
Air valve Supplies additional bypass air for cold fast idle. (Engine coolant activated.)
Idle air control valve Controls idle speed electronically via a duty cycle signal from the ECM.
