Removal/Installation




Removal
1. Remove the high-tension leads.
2. Turn the crankshaft so that the No.1 cylinder is at the top dead center of compression.
3. Loosen the distributor lock bolt.
4. Remove the distributor. Do not turn the crankshaft until the distributor has been reinstalled.





Installation
1. Install the distributor and connect the high-tension leads and distributor connector.
2. Tighten the lock bolt to the specified torque.

Torque specification: 19-25 Nm (14-18 ft.lb.)

3. Adjust the ignition timing.
4. Verify that the No.1 cylinder is at the top dead center and the distributor matching marks are correctly aligned.
