PURPOSESGC-Signal
Detects No.1 cylinder TDC and sends the signal to the engine control module (ECM).
SGT-Signal
Detects crank angle at 180° intervals and sends the signal to the engine control module (ECM).

OPERATION
SGC-Signal
The camshaft position sensor SGC-signal affects the operation of the following ECM output systems and/or devices:
- Fuel injection timing
- Ignition control module (ignition timing control)
SGT-Signal
The camshaft position sensor SGT-signal affects the operation of the following ECM output systems and/or devices:
- Fuel injection quantity
- Fuel injection timing
- Idle air control valve (idle speed)
- Purge solenoid valve (purge control)
- A/C relay (A/C cut-off control system)
- Ignition control module (ignition timing control)
- EGR solenoid valves (EGR operation)
- Pressure regulator control solenoid valves (fuel pressure)
- Transaxle control module (TCM)
- Variable inertia charging system (VICS) solenoid valves (intake air flow)
