Transmission Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the resonance duct, air cleaner housing assembly, battery cover, battery, and the battery carrier.
3. Disconnect the input/turbine speed sensor connector.

4. Remove the bolt and remove the input/turbine speed sensor.

INSTALLATION
1. Apply clean automatic transaxle fluid (ATF) to a new 0-ring and install it with the new input/turbine speed sensor.

Tightening torque: 7.9 - 10.7 Nm (70 - 95 in.lb.)

2. Connect the input/turbine speed sensor connector.
3. Install the battery carrier, battery, battery cover, air cleaner housing assembly, and the resonance duct.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
