Ignition Cable: Testing and Inspection
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION CAUTION: Reinstall the high-tension leads to their original positions. Incorrect installation can damage the leads and cause power loss and negatively effect electronic components.
INSPECTION -
Use an ohmmeter to measure the resistance of each lead.
Resistance: 16 kohms per 1.00m (3.28 ft.) -
If not as specified replace the high-tension lead.
