System Inspection

1. Start the engine and wait for 4 Sec.
2. Turn on the blower switch and A/C switch, and verify that the magnetic clutch operates.
3. Turn off the ignition switch.
4. Turn the ignition switch to START and verify that the magnetic clutch does not operate while cranking.
5. Verify that the magnetic clutch starts to operate approx. 4 sec. after the engine starts.




6. Fully open the throttle valve and verify that the magnetic clutch does not operate.
7. Verify that the magnetic clutch starts to operate approx. 5 sec. after the throttle valve is opened.
8. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
9. If not as specified, inspect following:
- ECM terminal 3B (Throttle position sensor)
- A/C relay
- A/C amplifier
