Control Module: Service and Repair

Replacement
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the ABS control unit.
3. Disconnect the transmission control module connector.
4. Remove the nuts shown in the figure, and remove the transmission control module.
5. Install the new transmission control module.

Tightening Torque: 19-25 N-m (14-18 ft-lb)

6. Connect the transmission control module connector.
7. Install the ABS control unit.
8. Connect the negative battery cable.
