APPLICABLE MODELS

All 1995 Protege model vehicles.

DESCRIPTION

If replacement of the inboard combination light is necessary, follow the procedures below. Failure to adhere to these procedures will result in damage to the lamp when it is installed.

Service Managers should inform bodyshop technicians of these procedures.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Remove trunk lid trim.





2. Loosen installation bolts from the trunk key cylinder.





3. Remove the inboard combination light as shown in Fig. 2.

4. Install in reverse order.

5. Align the trunk key cylinder with the center of the hole in the inboard combination light.

6. Tighten the installation bolts for the trunk key cylinder and install the trunk lid trim.
