Engine Oil: Testing and Inspection
1.
Position the vehicle on level ground.
2.
Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature and stop it.
3.
Wait for five minutes.
4.
Remove the dipstick and check the oil level and condition.
5.
Add or replace oil if necessary.
Note: The distance between the L and F marks on the dipstick represents
.8 L { 0.85 U.S qt 0.70 Imp qt }.
