Transmission Temperature Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection
Inspection 1.
Remove the control valve body.
2.
Place the
transaxle fluid temperature sensor in ATF along with a thermometer as shown, and heat the ATF gradually.
3.
Measure resistance between the terminals C and E of the
transaxle fluid temperature sensor.
4.
If not correct, replace the
transaxle fluid temperature sensor.
5.
Install the control valve body.
