A/C Plenum Assembly

A/C Plenum Assembly Removal/Installation






1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove heater hoses from heater core tubes and plug hoses.
3. Remove the evaporator assembly.
4. Remove the five nuts from the plenum located in the engine compartment at the dash panel and discard.

Note: Do not reuse nuts

5. Remove the instrument panel. Refer to Dashboard Service and Repair
6. Pull the plenum rearward from the dash panel, and remove it from the vehicle.
7. To install, position plenum to dash panel aligning studs to holes in panel.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
