AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC MONITOR

Removal / Installation

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect positive battery cable.
3. Wait one minute. This is the time required for back-up power supply in the air bag diagnostic monitor to deplete its stored energy.
4. Remove RH kickpanel.
5. Disconnect air bag diagnostic monitor electrical connectors.





6. Remove in the order shown in the figure.
7. Inspect or replace parts as necessary.
8. Install in reverse order of removal. Tighten diagnostic monitor and bracket retaining screws to: 10.2 - 13.8 N.m (1.1 - 1.3kg fm/8 - 10 lb-ft).
