Torque Specifications
Intake/Valve Cover:
Head Bolts:
Tighten the bolts in sequence as shown in the figure.
Tightening torque:
1. 80 Nm (59 ft-lb)
2. Back off all of the bolts a minimum of one full turn (360°).
3. 45-55 Nm (33-41 ft-lb)
4. 85-99 Nm (63-73 ft-lb)
Note: When the cylinder head bolts have been tightened using the above procedure it is not necessary to retighten the bolts after extended engine operation.
