Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION1. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.
2. Remove the throttle position sensor screws.
3. Remove the throttle position sensor.
CAUTION: Slide rotary tangs into position over throttle shaft blade, then rotate throttle position sensor clockwise only to install position. Failure to install throttle position sensor in this manner may result in excessive idle speeds.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Tightening torque: 3-4 Nm (27-35 in.lbs.)
