Fuel Filter: Service and Repair
WARNING:- Fuel line spills and leaks are dangerous. Fuel can ignite and cause serious injuries or death and damage.
- Fuel can also irritate skin and eyes.
- To prevent this, always complete the "Fuel Line Safety Procedures" on.
Replacement:
The fuel filter must be replaced at the intervals outlined in the maintenance schedule.
1. Disconnect the fuel hoses from the fuel filter.
2. Remove the fuel filter and bracket.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
4. Verify that the fuel hoses are pushed fully onto the fuel filter nipples.
