Power Steering Pressure Switch: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION 1.
Disconnect the P/S pressure switch connector.
2.
Connect an ohmmeter to the sensor.
3.
Start the engine and run it at idle. Check continuity of the sensor while turning the steering wheel.
4.
If not as specified, replace the P/S pressure switch.
REPLACEMENT Replace the P/S pressure switch as shown in the figure.
Tightening torque: 17-22 Nm (13-16 ft.lbs.)
