Maximum Steering Angle

1. Remove steering gear boot clamp, then loosen tie rod locknut.
2. Turn tie rod to provide correct maximum steering angle of 0.12 inch, Fig. 3.
3. After adjustment, torque locknut to 51 - 72 ft.lb.
4. Adjust toe-in as described under Toe-In.
5. Verify boot is not twisted, then install boot clamp.
