DISTRIBUTOR
Removal/Installation




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove in the order shown in the figure above.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
4. Tighten fastener bolts to specifications after ignition timing adjustment is completed.

Fastener Torque: 19-25 Nm (14-18 ft.lb.)

Disassembly / Assembly




1. Disassemble in the order shown in the figure above.
2. Inspect all parts and repair or replace if necessary.
3. Assemble in the reverse order of removal.

Inspection




Distributor cap and rotor
1. Check for corrosion, damage, and cracks.
2. Replace if necessary.
