INSPECTION
Primary coil winding:
1. Disconnect the distributor connector.
2. Measure the resistance between terminals A and B by using an ohmmeter.

Specification: 0.49 - 0.73 ohms @ 20°C (68°F).

3. If not as specified, replace the distributor.

Secondary coil winding
1. Disconnect the distributor connector.
2. Remove the distributor cap.
3. Measure the resistance between terminal A and the body by using an ohmmeter.

Specification: 20 - 31 kohms @ 20°C (68°F).

4. If not as specified, replace the distributor.
