1. Disassemble in the order shown in the figure.
a. Piston.
1. Place a piece of wood in the caliper.
2. Gently blow compressed air through the pipe hole to force the piston out of the caliper.
b. Remove the piston seal from the caliper by using the special service tool.
c. Loosen the bleeder screw by using the special service tool.
2. Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.
^ Tighten the bleeder screw by using the special service tool to 7-9 Nm (63-78 inch lbs.).
3. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
