Refrigerant System Performance Testing
After repairs are finished, conduct a performance test of the system as follows.

1. Connect the manifold gauge set.
2. Start the engine and run it at 1500 rpm for 10 minutes.
3. Operate the air conditioning system on MAX air conditioning (recirculating air).
4. Run the blower at HI speed.
5. Stabilize temperature of vehicle interior at 21° - 27° C (70° - 80° F).
6. Record clutch on and off time in seconds.
7. Record center register discharge temperature.
8. Determine and record ambient temperature.
9. Plot and compare readings with applicable chart.
