Flow Chart No.5 - Symptom - GEM does not time out properly.

Step 1
1. Check fuse 7 (20 A fuse).




2. Is the fuse blown?

Step 2
1. Remove the battery saver relay.
2. Check for continuity at B/W wire between fuse 7 on power distribution box and battery saver relay.




3. Is there continuity?

Step 3
1. Check for continuity of the battery saver relay coil.

NOTE
^ Internal circuit shows on relay housing.




2. Is there continuity?

Step 4
1. Check for continuity of T/Y circuit between battery saver relay connector and GEM T-224 connector.
2. Disconnect GEM connector.




3. Is there continuity?

Step 5
1. Check for continuity between B/W wire terminal of battery saver relay connector and body ground.




2. Is there continuity?

Step 6
1. Disconnect GEM connector.
2. Check for continuity between T/Y wire terminal of GEM T-224 connector and body ground.
