Recharging

CAUTION
^ Do not perform quick charging for over 20 minutes to prevent damaging the battery.
^ Place the battery in water to prevent it from overheating.
^ Warm up the battery to 5° C (41 ° F) before charging.

WARNING
^ Before performing maintenance or recharging the battery, turn off all accessories and stop the engine.
^ When disconnecting the battery, the negative cable must be removed first and installed last.

Slow charging
If the battery has passed the load test, it can be recharged in 2 hours at 20 A. If a full state of charge is desired, the charge can be completed by a low constant current of 3 to 5 amps for several hours.

Quick charging
1. Remove the battery from the vehicle to perform a quick charge.
2. Charge the battery for 20 minutes at 35 A.
