Clutch Switch: Testing and Inspection
This system is similar to that of the park/neutral position switch on an AT vehicle.
If the clutch pedal is not depressed during starting, battery power will not be supplied to the starter and it will not operate.
Inspection 1.
Disconnect the
clutch pedal position switch connector.
2.
Connect a circuit tester to the switch.
3.
Check for continuity.
4.
Replace the switch, if necessary.
