Front Cooling Unit Disassembly / Assembly

CAUTION: If moisture or foreign material enters the refrigeration system, cooling ability will be lowered and abnormal noise will occur. Always immediately plug all open fittings after removing any refrigeration system parts to keep moisture or foreign material out of the system.

1. Remove the front cooling unit.

CAUTION: To prevent the pipe from breaking, loosen the joint by using two open-end wrenches.

2. Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.

CAUTION: To prevent the pipe from breaking, tighten the joint by using an open-end wrench and a torque wrench.

3. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly indicated in the table.




Expansion Valve Assembly Note
1. Apply A/C compressor oil to the O-rings and connect the joints.
2. Assemble the heat-sensing tube as shown in the figure.




Thermoswitch Assembly Note
Assemble the thermoswitch as shown in the figure.




4. Install the front cooling unit.

NOTE: When installing a new front evaporator, add ND-OIL8 compressor oil into the refrigeration system.

Supplemental amount: 40 ml (40 cc, 1.4 fl.oz.)
